Abstract

This study aims to analyze landslide vulnerability levels in the Eris Subdistrict of Minahasa Regency in North Sulawesi Province, using spatial approach based on Geographic Information System (GIS). The research method is descriptive quantitative, with analysis technique using Weighted Overlay Method (WOM). This method involves scoring and weighting six main parameters: slope, rainfall, geology, soil type, land use, and distance from rivers. The results of the analysis through ArcGIS 10.8 software, produced a landslide vulnerability map divided into four classes, namely low, medium, high and very high. Most of the Eris subdistrict is categorized as having high (33.7%) or very high (24.96%) vulnerability, covering a total area of 5,327.74 hectares. Ranomerut, Touliang Oki, and Eris villages are the most affected areas, with the dominant area in the high to very high category. In contrast, Maumbi and Tandengan Satu villages showed lower vulnerability. These findings reinforce the importance of spatial approaches in disaster mitigation planning, especially in hilly areas with high rainfall and steep morphology.
