PHONEMS IN TOULOUR A CONSTRUCTION TO THE POSSIBILITY OF LEARNING REGIONAL LANGUAGE IN NORTH SULAWESI

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the phonemes of the Toulour Language were seen from their form, function and meaning. The objectives of this study were: 1) to identify the phonemes contained in the Toulour language, 2) to describe the distribution of phonemes in the Toulour language. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data source of this research is informants. To collect data, the techniques used were listening techniques and proficient techniques.
The data analysis techniques are: 1) recording sounds that are phonetically similar, 2) recording the rest of the sounds that are similar, 3) contrasting the same or similar environment (using work hypothesis A), and 4) with a complementary environmental basis (working hypothesis B).
