PENGGUNAAN METODE DEMONSTRASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of natural science students in grade IV Pondang Inpres Elementary School. The design to be used in this research is to refer to the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design according to Kemmis and MC Taggart, which is a spiral system, each of which consists of: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. From the results of the learning activities that have been carried out for two cycles, and based on all the discussions and analyzes that have been done it can be concluded that learning by the demonstration method has a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes marked by increasing student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I (64.3%), second cycle (91.15%). By seeing the results achieved in classroom action research using the demonstration method succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of natural science students in grade IV Pondang Inpres Elementary School.
